From Valdivia to Cape Horn
From Valdivia, 'Ata'Ata sailed through the Patagonian Channels to arrive via the Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Canal at Puerto Williams, Chile, and Ushuaia, Argentina, at the very bottom of the South American continent. From there it was only a short trip to Cape Horn, probably the most mythical place of the sailing world...
I beg of you a little bit of patience, and then even more, as sorting and writing memoirs of 'Ata'Ata's long cruise around the South Pacific is still a big job. But for my family and friends I'm trying to do my best under the cover of snow to put online some excerpts from my logbooks, with the photos that survived the crashes of my computers... :-)
